Really anything at all but where the setting is a brittle sedimentary host rock (e.g. slate or quartzite) that has been moved around (eg. folded into an anticline). This movement of a brittle rock fractures it and allows for fluids to circulate and gives space for metals to precipate out.
Telfer is actually the Paterson's best example of this (but where the predominant metal is gold).
RIO's discovery may be similar to this but where Cu dominates.
Nifty (Cu) is slightly different but none the less is hosted by a brittle sedimentary rock that has been folded and faulted.
Those dome looking structures on RDM's geophysics look very enticing but have the right metal-bearing fluids passed through them?
Nifty (along trend), Telfer (with it's anticlinal structure) and now RIO (??) says there has to be a chance.
Yours for 10 cents.
