The battle for Rio's coal assets between Glencore & Chinese Yancoal has lifted WHC's share price closer to the critical $3 mark.
The higher than expected bids seems to have trickled down to smaller producers; particularly coking coal producers.
Coking coal supply has been curtailed by cyclone Debbie and trade sanctions on North Korea who was supplying
2 mil tons a year across the border to China.

WHC's June quarter report will be interesting because it will confirm coal price & volumes over this turbulent
quarter. IMO, we'll have 6 mil tons + @ prices equal to or better than the March Qtr.
