Thanks for the reply. The announcement seems to have appeared approx. 3 minutes after I pressed the 'send' button and turned of my PC at work.

Re: "given DES will be quoting ex entitlement on the 19th of March they are also rewarding their shareholders" ... agree. It does give other punters 2 days (today and tomorrow 18th) to get on board, but its about as close as any I've seen to keeping it within the family, although with today's price action it was a bit of a mute point.

I'm sorry I got so negative today, it just added to the general sea of gloom from the other posters, with you being the sole bright spark keeping your chin up.

The rest of us seem to have mainly focussed on the worst parts of today's announcement, yet it will probably be in the best long-term interests of the company (let's hope so).

Oscar, I hope you're holding up well and keeping the faith, although I wouldn't blame you if you had more than a few stiff drinks tonight. As I remember it you mentioned that you were more than a bit overweight in this stock. You seem to know more about DES than anyone on this forum, and I trust you can see the 'big picture' more than most when it comes to this company. I find strength in the fact that you have remained positive about it, and hopefully things will turn around (with the SP) in good time, as they ultimately should.
