On a slightly different track people. Went and did my weekly grocery shop today, pleasantly surprised to see one of the senior staff members "directing" customers to various check-outs and ensuring that check-outs were manned as appropriate.
Very encouraging on that small but significant part of the shopping experience. It might sound pedantic but the customer doesn't want to waste time standing in long cues, and the supermarkets shouldn't want customers and their trolleys clogging up traffic areas.
