Some would put it down to "sentiment" Certainly a bit of that but more likely investor stupidity I would say. Everyone running for the hills.
I'm not saying there aren't issues out there, but this company could be in possession of a world class project(s) which has been and continues to be considerably derisked.
Further, it has great management with cash in the bank.
Yet these facts seem to be entirely missed or ignored by frightened investors who can't stay the course and see the bigger picture.
The problem in these markets is that the weak and scared can influence not only individual stocks (such as YTC) but also the broader market, where the logic and fundamentals underlying a particular stock are completely ignored as people panic.
Low turnover leading to an almost 10% drop on no news.
Frustrating!
