I struggle with financials statements but plough thru anyway. I often get a better idea about some companies by reading the opinions of others here better qualified to analyse them. This does not mean I take the lazy/easy option - I do have a go and wrestle with the terminology. At the same time will not hold something if I get a whiff of anything not quite right/risky in the fundamentals. Plenty of others out there to buy/trade.
A layperson's reading of the half year tells me that there a couple of transactions that are not quite finalised or integrated properly as yet. That they are working to increase their exposure to more financial planners and mortgage brokers. So when and if that all comes together, the next couple of years will be a strong growth period.
Please correct me if wrong, or add anything additional that I have omitted.
