Firstly, I don't think Norm will be about to answer all these questions, if any, however I feel they do warrant consideration and discussion.
*** All bolding is done for emphasis on my part. The bolded text was not part of the original quote/prospectus.***
Question One
“Red October Recourses Limited (Red October Resources or the Company) is an Australian-based exploration company established primarily to acquire, explore, evaluate and exploit mineral resource projects including nickel and non-iron ore minerals at the Pardoo Project located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia (the Project).”
- Page 3
“In addition to seeking to earn up to an initial 70% interest in the nickel and non-iron ore mineral rights at the Project, the Company intends to pursue new projects in the resource sector, both in Australia and overseas, by way of acquisition or investment.”
- Page 3
The prospectus states that the company was primarily established to focus on the Pardoo Project. The words "in addition" imply (IMO only) that an additional acquisition would be a secondary project/focus. Given these statements are you able to confirm whether it was ever Red October Resources intention to progress with the Pardoo Project at all?
Question Two
Year 1 Expenditure was listed as including $750,000 for the exploration and evaluation of the Pardoo Project
- Page 9
Are you able to confirm how much, if any of this $750,000 has been spent on the Pardoo Project? If no money has been spent, why not? given the "primary" reason for establishing the company was to explore the Pardoo Project.
Question Three
“The Company is required to invest $2 million during the first two years of the agreement. The company will earn, in three stages, up to an initial 70% of the nickel and non-iron ore mineral rights at the Pardoo Project for expenditure of at least $10 million.”
Given the company is required to spend $2m within 2yrs in order to meet their agreement are you able to comment on the companys ability to meet this condition? If the company has no desire or ability to meet this commitment does this mean that the company has no interest in progressing with the Pardoo Project?
Question Four
"During the first year, the Company is planning the following activities:
- A prefeasibility study to examine the various process options and possible extraction of mineralisation within the Highway Resource. - RC and diamond drilling to target high-grade nickel pods and to test the geophysical/geochemical targets and along strike potential of the Highway/Supply Well trend - Regional exploration to target geophysical anomalies and determine the potential of the tenements outside of the identified Highway/Supply Well trend."
- Page 19
Has any planning taken place in regard to the above activites? and are they expected to take place within the timeframe outlined in the prospectus? (i.e. within the first year)
Thanks again for your time Norm and I understand if the above questions cannot be answered due to ASX listing rules.
