Next week Medusa's Geoff Davis and likely Rob Gregory will be in London to give a presentation in Mayfair. This is a significant event as the company has not presented there for some years to my knowledge.
A year ago the MML listing on the main market of the LSE was cancelled by the then CE, Peter Hepburn Brown after more than 7 years, since 2006, of Medusa being listed on both the LSE and ASX. The reasons cited at the time were: "in order to streamline administrative procedures and to reduce management costs from listing on multiple stock exchanges" and low volume of trading.
This was a short sighted and very poor decision that has damaged support for the company and the share price over the past year. Although the company had received strong support from UK institutions and PI's for all of that time, many UK shareholders sold out at this time rather than hold shares listed solely on an overseas exchange.
This visit on 16/4 may be an attempt to rebuild bridges, speak with institutions and PI's to assess the support for a relisting on the LSE later this year.
There is a possibility that the Q3 production result announcement or other significant news will coincide with this date.
