Seems I am not the only pi.. off/disillusioned holder of ctn that follows Hotcopper. The latest raising is UNBELIEVABLE in its total contempt for existing holders.
The previous thread adequately addressed managements greed and touched on the gap between price and net asset backing if mgt were truly working in our interest they would make us all a quick and lazy 50 odd percent by shutting the fund down and paying us back our $1.50 of value instead of diluting our existing holdings so that we can continue to see a share trading to giant discount to asset backing. UNBELIEVABLE

While I am ranting let me comment on the returns that this co. continues to announce; I believe they are consistently overstated.
Eg latest NTA ASX release states, Since inception the investment portfolio has provided a compound return of 26.1%pa compared with the All Ordinaries Index of 11.0% . Some simple maths:

Allords in mar 04 (at ctn inception) was 3400, All ords now about 4900; 1600 points gain = 47% gain
Ctn listed in 2004 at $1 and closed 2009 . Wait for it at $1 . Thats a 0% gain.
I know that this does not allow for divs, raisings etc but cannot see where the stated 26.1 % comes from????

Why are we in this dog???????
What do others think we should/can do???
