I guess and I'm probably wrong but thinking outside the box here and say that even though it wouldn't make a difference, I still feel like it'll show management support from retail share holders and possible get him to think about all of this with an open mind. in other words without knowing you have support you might just go the easy option however, with support from retail holders it might make him believe In himself more to get the job done.
that to me is the most important message
