interesting how surgical threatre growth was good given intravitreal issue in prior period, reflecting industry growth noted in previous posts here, whereas personal consultation income going nowhere in NSW and QLD where doctor numbers were the same. New remuneration model, which is resulting in higher pay to doctors, was meant to get them excited and motivated to work harder individually etc etc !!! appears no real effect in making doctors more productive individually, rather simply getting paid more for doing same volumes. End outcome is a real strong need to move away from doctor consultation dependency, with urgency.
