The URL supplied when you register requires you to download and install an application.
If you can't install software on your machine – like me – you can use the "instant join" method.
Your invitation will have a URL that will look a lot like this:
https://global.gotowebinar.com/join/1234567890147025836/987654321
To use instant join, add this to the end of the URL: ?clientType=html5
So you get:
https://global.gotowebinar.com/join/1234567890147025836/987654321?clientType=html5
