I definitely do not advocate investing based on information posted on HC. However I use the information I find on HC to help me make my own decision based on how I interpret the information.In fact I often act contrary to advice here if my research leads me to believe they are wrong. I stand by my statement that I have more faith in information found here than I find in most broker reports. eg, Your posts have given information regarding ADI ahead of most reports. Your information allowed investors in ADI to make a judgement ahead of any recommendation by a broker. (Even your tongue in cheek posts regarding the ADI SP if interpreted as "don't throw me into the briar bush said the rabbit to the fox".) I'll just continue to trade and accumulate.
