I see. I certainly read it as some sort of muscle flexing competition but perhaps I was mistaken. I guess its also possible those clear thinkers could just buy the shares on market without saying anything. Up to them though of course.

I always liked that story about kerry packer asking the texan what his net worth was and then offering to flip him for it. Made me laugh, quite entertaining. But it also seemed like kerry was trying to put the guy in his place and make him feel small.
