SBM is only interested in top tier projects - I am not sure they will be interested in Ravenswood, They could easily fund its development given the free cashflow they pumping out.
I found it interesting that when JW assured punters that there was no capital raising associated with a London listing, he qualified this by saying "at present". It is in a recent video of his interview posted here, plus reports back from one or more hotcopper posters who had spoken with JW after the London listing announcement.
My view is that if they just kept at the projects they would not need a CR, but it will take longer to get Ravenswood fixed so that it delivers some useful money for shareholders (at present that does not happen until around 2025!).
If they sold Ravenswood for $100m they would have the funds to fix Bibiani, which I assume will be a profitable 100k ounce pa producer, so long as the locals allow it to operate for the benefit of shareholders rather than the Bibiani townsfolk.
