There is a saying about "African time" that you'd need to have visited this part of the world to understand. African time doesn't move as fast as "our" time. If you couple this with infrastructure challenges I think the company has done well to get this far.Esh
So true, not just Africa but for most third world countries. It seems to be a combination of communal attitude/cultural thinking, education, corruption. The cultural pattern is quite different from a Western one and this frustrates a Westerner no end. Yes does not mean yes, it means I agree with you to keep you happy but I will do what makes sense to my community. If you make me look bad in any way (including speech) then I will never forgive you and always work against you but never tell you that I have a problem with you.
