1. Currently taking expression of interest, so far huge response
2. All over QLD, although SE - QLD would be the main area due to high population density
3. Expected to work like switching phone providers - keeping the service, getting billed at lower rate

So far nothing different to what others already offer BBBUUUTTT :

None of the other new providers offers outside Goldcoast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast.

So, from Gympie to at least Rockhampton there is no alternative to ERGON, that's where LPE could be the sole new player for a while.

Not sure about Mackay, Townsville and Cairns but haven't found anything that is offered by others, maybe sole provider here as well.

No hardware changes necessary, just a bit paper / computer work. Not much profit per household but accumulated over 100.000 it could be in the millions.

Bureau of statistics just released yesterday, ABC QLD news, that there is the highest migration rate ever from NSW / VIC to coastal - regional area in QLD such as Hervey Bay, Bundaberg, and North QLD.

Hervey Bay and Bundaberg currently experiencing fastest rate related to population growth in OZ due to lowest house and unit prices and still almost untouched but well developed beach areas. Nearly deads and newly weds, that what drives the region.

LPE is well set to take advantage of that move.
