The problem is to work out what does Bolton really want? Why did he start this process in the first place? He has effectively bankrupted himself, or his father's friend. I could see his POV if he was an early investor, but he came late into the piece. What's the end game? No one seems to know. And protecting the "mum and dad" investors would probably be at the bottom of the list.
