you hold shares in a company with no assets since the receiver holds these now. it's his job to sell the assets to the highest bidder. the new owner of the assets will have no interest in WVL shareholders, and owes them nothing.
windimurra vanadium limited is now a listed company with no assets. the value of the shares = (cost of setting up a new company) / number of shares. to set up a listed company might cost $1m or so. someone might buy it, change its name, and use it for some other purpose.
