2 things-- don't forget that for each 5-6 wells, they have to drill a salt water disposal well. I don't know what these are costing them, but not as much as an oil well.
And, they have one time costs of laying pipelines into each hub to get the gas to market. As they connect the wells and get the gas to market, the revenue per well goes up.
