I agree with you in principle.

What annoys me is that Bond is making out like this is what caused the company to collapse and not his frivolous foray into oil production from mature US oil fields (which Linc had zero experience with) and shale oil exploration (all funded by unsustainable amounts of debt and WITHOUT APPROPRIATE HEDGING ON THE OIL PRICE FOR THEIR OUTPUT TO ENSURE SUSTAINABILITY ON THE DEBT), an idiotic move to the SGX and the amateurish issue of convertible bonds which lead to massive shorting of the stock. The guy simply doesn't know how to run a business and THAT is why Linc failed.

Given the company's track record on all other fronts then I wouldn't be surprised if Linc did cause environmental damage in Qld. And I'd support anything whatsoever that puts Bond behind bars where he belongs.
