The claims the Qld Govt are making with regards to the aerial extent of any environmental damage are completely implausible .

I held all three of the Qld UCG gasification companies .

The thing which surprised me most was how long Carbon Energy persisted with Queensland once it became obvious that the govt was desperately looking for an excuse , any excuse , to shut it down .

What really annoys me is that it will go down in history that UCG caused major environmental contamination when that is not even true .
