The SPS trial was probably something that mpower would have been bidding for anyway.
WesternPower stated that they would look favourably on partnership bids.
The scale of the trial was maybe too big for either mpower or EMC to manage separately. As a combined entity, they maybe able to take a much bigger role.
I think it would be worth looking at what each company has that the other doesn’t.
This is going to take awhile to become apparent I am thinking.
