Let me put this one to rest.

"SPEC" stock refers to project not management. To say "this is a spec stock" and then say management performance can also be expected to be speculative is plain wrong. Management is getting a salary and has the legal responsibility to perform to bring value to SHs. Yes for a stock like GPP one considers the projects to be speculative (or spec) but the BOD should not be part of the equation as far as the what contributes to "spec". Had that been the case then half the stock on ASX would be spec, even half those in ASX200!

As a corollary, I do not accept the management to be let off the hook for adding to speculation which they have done in their communications or there lack of.
