On the 6th Dec there was news that OGC would be removed from the ASX 200 as of close of business today. Same applied to KCN and PRU and both of those were also down today. Most other goldies up. I took advantage by selling Wed and yesterday and buying back on today's close. I had posted about the rebalance when it was announced. My expectation is for a strong outperformance against its peers from here through to the Dec qtrly announcement now that probably most if not all of the ASX200 index tracking fund selling is done. That is a significant short term overhang out of the picture. I might be wrong but I think we will see a big gap up on Monday morning assuming POG holds up. Now that that overhang is clear I'm back to a buy rather than LT buy sentiment.
