Again, why do you care ? You don't own shares and are obviously not interested in investing in RENT, so why come to this forum - why the need to educate us? It is a newish small cap company with associated high risk, but then the upside is high returns is it does succeed. It is good to have different opinions, but a few people here are just completely negative when it come to RENT and this leads me to question their agendas here.
It is a large market, I don't think - no I know - RENT don't expect to be market leaders any time soon, they are not targeting agents, they are working from the other end to get the end user (tenant) to use their site and add ons, then have this pull in agents using the site to connect with potential tenants.
They are also actively targeting private landlords, From an SMH article 2013 : About 2.5 million rental property schedules were lodged with the Australian Taxation Office in the 2010-11 financial year and 1.7 million of them included claims for property agents' fees. That leaves about 800,ooo private landlords.

I believe there is a position for RENT in the market and that they have the resources to be successful.
I am a private landlord and I have used the RENT site successfully.
