Thanks for your reply Gus, our opinions are very alike. What I believe pulled PLA back and downhill in a big way was the first contractor who made a complete mess of it, employees going on strike for a couple of weeks and just a skeleton staff at the mine. If I recall one of their announcements management did say that there was sufficient ammount of ore stockpiled to feed the plant once work recommenced. If I may mention another company who also have pgm on their tenements but in NSW, right now their main focus is on gold and other base minerals, that company is Rimfire RIM, yes it is a tiddler as is reflected in their sp. Don't know about yourself but I used to wonder what happened to the results I mean the assayed samples that are recovered from the laboratory's who do this job, and they must be pocketing a fortune, well Rimfire would have asked for the recovered pgm and according to them there was sufficient for them to sell.
Going back many years when I worked for my father in his scrap metal business one of my jobs was to recover the platinum from aicraft spark plugs, yes there were more piston engine aircraft than jets back then so dad did allright from that.
So back to PLA I did do very well when they were the flavour of the month, make that six months or more so they don't owe me anything and I retained a portion for when they hit the highs again here's hoping.
Hope I haven't bored you to tears.
