    Didn't mean to offend you in anyway.
    Apparently the technology has been around for quite some time.
    My thoughts were that instead of using dirty coal fired plants and co2 producing electricity generation if they were to use wind and solar to do the pumping up of the water it would lead to a cleaner future.
    Upon further research I have discovered that there is an island in the Caribbean that is entirely energy self sufficient using totally renewable sources of power in conjunction with the pumped storage hydroelectricity as a backup for load peaks and for use during the night time. They even use reversible pumps that double as the generators when run in reverse.
    If you feel that you could add anything extra or even give a further well informed opinion I would be interested in your point of view and anything you may be able to add.
