Preopen for EDE could be a sucker trap. There is one fairly large buy that could alter the opening price one way or another. If it sticks the SP will be up. If it is withdrawn at the last moment the SP will be flat. Regardless though TAS still trails. Usually lags by a day or two but usually gets back to the value that I use. That is the reason why I use that value. Historically it has been at that level month after month regardless of the efforts by the company to get the SP higher relative to EDE.
As MB stated, this could alter at very short notice. I hope it does.
