I would have been sceptical, but "interest has been received for a joint venture by an overseas company". Assuming the overseas company is not a subsidiary of TAS or Noble run by the Solomons themselves, it would seem that perhaps they do have something of value there and they were approached by an outsider.
It would be too funny if TAS ended up temporarily subsidising EDE to get Edencrete over the line, rather than the other way around.
