i was reading tom elliott's remarks on the adi bid in an article he put out on the 17th may
he thought the bid was pretty "interesting" as the bid was on market, something he said does not happen too often
he was suggesting if awe did not get any traction on the 112 mill shares they have put on the bid side and no shares went their way then anyone investing above the bid could have minimal downside of .01 cents or .5% or so loss with an upside of whatever the awe outfit would offer to get the bid over the line
he suggested if your an adi shareholder then wait till the very end.. if the bid had no traction for the long term holder then equally there is potential for upside as awe would need to raise the bid to get it over the line
