if i am wrong about eka and aut having topped out post the awe offer then so be it.. its my choice to buy adi and thats what i have done, i am of the opinion that any % the adi share rises, even if the 2 partners are mirroring the % increase exactly, then i still will be guaranteed the cash in hand, this way it carries far less risk for me.. for the rest of the punters it may not be an easy exit when they take profit..
but any market jitters, oil prices falls or cap raisings wont have any impact on the outcome which will deliver me hard cash should the proposal go through in any way..
i hope aut and eka have not reached their peak, and run hard on any offers, but i am not certain they will. this way i am covered 100% if it does happen..
thus far aut and eka have only achieved what gains they have on the on the back of the awe offer.. with aut no where near the same levels % wise..
i said its entirely speculation if the sp on aut and eka will go up post any further offers by awe.. maybe they will maybe they wont.. maybe they will just firm at the current levels only.. and i think there are factors out there that may curtail the aut share in particular.. as their cash is running low and they need to cap raise big time to stay in the game.. profit takers could run now or maybe they will punt on a very very early reply from awe to save them..
my strategy, and its only mine, is to buy into the adi share again, having taken profit on the aut sp rise since the awe offer.
my view is that the gains in adi are very possible and plausible, and its only speculation as to whether the jvp partners will be capable of attaining market caps higher than their current levels.. oil could collapse, the global volatility may increase and escalate.. all sorts of factors are out there..
its a fact that these two partners rose on the back of the awe offer, but they are currently trading on very steep highs.. imho a future re evaluation of the reserve estimates in the coming 60 days or so would re rate the jvp significantly.. only the current offers on adi are impacting on the two jvp partners but there will always be those wanting to take profit, and selling out on the understanding that cap raisings are needed short term..
awe starting buying at 12th may at .26 and sent adi to .41 a 57% increase
aut was 12th may .66 and a 57% increase would be $1.03
eka was on 12th may .145 and a 57% increase is .22
so that share has certainly stayed on the adi coat tails..
will aut run hard?? who knows..
so far the share has not done so..
i see it flattening out and imho with my capoital in that share i stood a better chance of getting any further gains in adi in the near term ' if aut runs hard so be it, and good luck.. its just my opinion.. and i will be investing into aut once the company has done its next cap raising should timing permit
this way i get with 100% certainty the cash at the end no matter what..
