Hopefully Alastair Cowden will be given a little bit of a budget to do some exploration in NW Qld around the old AOH tenements.
Clearly they've got a use for him on the Board, but it's a rather limited one as a geologist. If we're reduced to hoping for a limited budget for Cowden, it shows just how far this has sunk us.
As a commercial operator with negotiation savvy and leadership skills, Cowden's proven to be a bit ordinary. To the enormous detriment of shareholders.
Even he admitted it when he spoke of the synergies of the deal. But surely that's a euphemism? So they're smart commercial operators and know how to build a mine. He knows how to make finds as a geologist.
But somebody was out of their league, wouldn't you say?
