If the independent valuer said the deal is unfair, it's unfair.
Relative status of the companies isn't the thing. (AOH is vastly undervalued!)
It's the value of what's in the ground. And what's in the ground at Roseby is easy to access, double the % of what CMMC has at Copper mountain. Next to rail, road, water and utilities. It's a DREAM for CMMC holders.
The valuer said it was 'reasonable' in the absence of a better offer. That's just like, you're desperate for a place to live, and no other offers so someone offers you an extortionate rate for a place to stay. The view is reasonably nice. There is a reasonable argument that you should take it, but it's still extortionate.
I say we should have bunked at a friend's place and waited for the market to wake up. It would have been a matter of 6 months at worst.
