Hey hey hey - no Geo’s no mines, like lawyers and accountants are better at running mines ....
I like to credit AC with getting out of Finland at the top of the market ( sorry sweet life).
Placating shareholders with a dividend was ok as long as the Queensland assets could get up and running without diluting shareholders (SRIG).
The fact that we were in a bear copper market and nothing was getting going easily well I dunno, was that all AC’s fault?
If you want to really get upset and do some finger pointing buy KCN shares they are an example of shambles.
Don’t get me wrong, things could have played out a lot better, but there was a lot of factors outside of our control as well.
When I weigh up both sides I get gray, but for those who have lost significant coin I understand their point of view as well. Was I lucky that as a long term shareholder ( of most companies as a rule) that I traded aoh when the Chinese were involved ? How can you trust the Chinese? At the time it was obvious that the Chinese held four aces at a cost of nothing and we were betting everything holding a hand of nothing (posted at the time - not hindsight).
Currently I am still holding some shares as a small percentage of my portfolio and do not need to make back losses, thus my view is coloured a bit more optimistic than some. In general I believe that being a copper producer just now is a good thing (excluding recent history).
    Cheers,
    Andy
