Certainly not suggesting its an easy, quick or cheap fix. The new management would need to have a strong mandate to undertake the task. From what I understand of Crane Group (I had a friend that was in a branch management position), senior management were asleep at the wheel and focused on lining their own pockets. Sounds like FBU have had more than enough other issues and haven't been much better.
I guess it all comes back to whether new owners / management have the appetite & commitment to stay the course, as well as the financial wherewithall.
