Crazy it's hard to tell from your post if you have considerable personal experience with Reece or are building your argument on the strength of your understanding of a single anecdote?
From personal experience I have purchased from them on four occasions. It was easy to find a park, the staff were immediately helpful and explained to a non plumber what needed to be done, had the kit readily available in stock AND were reasonably priced. The quality was great and the items are still working well. So not sure about the "average Joe", but this CuppaJoe has been very happy.
As for business acumen being a disgrace... I think it would be very difficult to name too many companies with better results over time than Reece. Smart, honest, transparent, reliable, hard working, talented management team, excellent capital managers, intelligent logistics and systems, happy employees and customers... really left to wonder what else you are looking for... ?
