Gday Big Leon, as a customer of Reece and on and off Shareholder for "a few" years i can tell you that they have NO competition at all. They never have. The Tradelinks, Swan and Harris Plumbing supplies could all join forces and they still would not get anywhere near Reece, especially Harris who are appalling.

Admittedly i prefer Reece as a shareholder rather than a customer as their trade pricing sucks and they do not reward long term customers, but i guess we get to claw a bit back through dividends and share trades.

Anyway, they are my pick of the bunch for an Aussie LT stock. The same family that started the business still runs the business (within reason of course). They are a real success story so well done to them and good luck to all that are savvy enough to be involved in this stock. They should be awarded the slogan...."the quiet achiever".

They have had a few splits over the years too......i vaguely remember an earlier split of $12 to $3 or something like that??

Has their share price ever gone backwards significantly? Nope. Great looking chart for the past 18 years.
