    Surandy 70,

I stand corrected.Just the same ,it is neither here or there. In fact the practical time to the end of the permit is the end of November.December and January is the start of the rainy season and the joint venturers will make it happen to secure a rig ASAP order to drill the well prior to the start of the rainy season.Otherwise they risk increased costs if the rain interupts the drilling or even stops the well completely. The management would be I think
acutely aware of the dangers of drilling too late.Costs of drilling as seen from Burus Ungani well can blowout without having an avoidable cost due to rain.It could use all our money up and affect our other programmes

The extension of a permit as far as I know may be or maybe not granted. The Canning basin is hot ground and when you see that a new area was given to a tenderer that must drill 3 wells in 2 years why would the DMP not consider someone more active than us and prepared to throw plenty of money at it.They would all be scrambling for our expired permit.

No the well will be drilled ASAP mark my words
