Yes, I see no significant benefit for Greenland/ Denmark/ the West in general and the US in particular and the shareholders, to give control of such a strategic resource to Shenge/China. Actually, I am surprised that GGG would enter such an MOU, and I assume they had to do it to get them interested/involved. Has anyone seen the MOU? or know the specific terms? We should resist such an effort as I fear we might only get " the scraps and Shenge get the meat". I hope the reassurances by John Mair that the shareholders will be protected is of minimal value as " talk is cheap " ( as I
with our first girlfriend) and legally binding documents expensive and difficult to get. We should resist this effort with appropriate emails to GGG administration. I personally emailed D. Trump ( who I met at a Chicago meeting ) and attached an article on GGG, the importance of this strategic resource, and China's efforts to totally control this resource. Hopefully, it was forwarded to appropriate individuals in the administration. It would be great to get a major US mining company or a company like Cameco interested. This is a huge resource that is easily mined. They do not have to tunnel under a lake ( as Cameco did) but just scoop it up.
