Going back to whenever it was that the Israelis vacated Gaza, lock stock and barrel (2005?) with no siege in place what so ever, what would have happened if Fatah had run the place like Singapore? There would not have been an internal conflict from which the bastard son, Hamas emerged, right? Go one step further, if Hamas had the welfare in mind of Gazan inhabitants, rather than their expressed written charter declaring the annihilation of ALL of Israel as their raison d'etre, Gaza by now could have been a mini Singapore rather than the basket case it is.

Therefore the animosity of Gazans should be directed at the maniacal leadership, who should find more time in between throwing gays off buildings and wasting money on tunnels which Israelis allow them to build until it suits them to destroy them. 

Nut then as Aba Eban said years ago, these Palestinians never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.  That's their brand-name.
