The currency of the report is very relevant and the figures are certainly worth taking notice of.
In addition to the actual brake emissions it notes in the characteristics that brakes further reduce particle emissions in a smaller part via reducing tyre wear as one point (Already proven in trials here and elsewhere), so it is a "double whammy" of sorts, especially where anyone offering a proven "sealed" braking system is concerned.
