It's the SIBS maintenance cost I'm looking at, according to what ABV have been saying is that the time between maintenance is longer for SIBS.
Conventional brakes not only need periodic adjustment but replacement of pads so the $7.600 per year ave. I would assume takes this into account. The change of oil in a fully concealed system should be approx. two to three years so the $3.500 per year seems excessive in my opinion, so again I'm assuming that the City of Swan have provided these figures. The mining company's who have been using Advanced Brakes for many years now could also come up with their maintenance costs if asked to.
