One slight correction. TXN has 7196 NET acres in EF.
Difficult to directly interpret the land value here (i.e. $45k/acre) because Marathon is buying the company, which may have other assets. But the estimated $45k per acre isn't far off my recollection of an equity partnership's EF land acquisition over the past month or so. Also need to factor in production levels, which are higher per acre in the Paloma company (412 BEOPD per acre). Still, promising info both in demand and possibly price point.
