recent efs sale

Hi Guys,

Anyone aware recently of Marathon Oil paying privately held Paloma Partners $767 million for their 17 000 acres in the Eagle Ford?

This works out to about 45K per acre.

Agent M, you reckon that at 45K per acre we could be looking at $1.35 per share. Do you have any insight as to if this sale actually went through at this price and if so, where exactly in the EFS are these acres located?
