    How come the naysayers on this site keep referring to debt without referring to the corresponding increase in assets...that's where the debt went!!......if you are inclined to know about the reduction in profit, it came from not selling all their 'products' this year (so put off to next year)due to drought and uncertainty blabla and would you believe its increased debt cost as well.....

    With regard to the US article.....they are partially right as TIM does own many agricultural property just like a property trust.......TIM did however establish the TIM Trust which does this in a more pure way.....gradually assets are being transferred to this trust people can invest in
