    slind, the best advice I can give you is to invest in educating yourself about investing and trading before you ever make any decisions on what stocks to invest in. There is plenty of excellent and free material out there (my bible when I want to look something up is still the chartschool section of stockcharts.com) - otherwise the alternative (not learning the basics before you start) will prove to be a very expensive way of learning the ropes. And above all else, learn about capital risk management.
