I think one of the biggest attractions of Prime is the fact they would make an attractive takeover target with the relaxation of media rules (in fact this was one of the big selling points which drove Fat Prophets positive recommendation who I was following during the time).

If the media laws are relaxed I think there is a very high likelihood that Seven would put their name into the hat (since I believe all of Prime's content is bought from Channel 7). Nine may also put their name but the content difference might be a disincentive for them.
