Initially I did have concern that Meltwater could be a big threat to iSentia. They won the NSW contract probably due to lower/unfair copyright costs. iSentia did win $15m QLD contract. iSentia is dominating ANZ region (probably 70% market share). I have monitored federal government contracts, isentia won probably 95% contracts.
Another interesting point, Meltwater lost the court case for using iSentia service to service their clients. Very sneaky. If their services were so good, why did they 'steal' iSentia's?
Gilead Capital is focusing on Leadership Investment. That explains recently appointments of high profile CEO, CTO, CFO, & CPO.
Share price is not $4 like two years ago. Debt level remains similar; Lost content exited with about $60m loss.
It's back the same business as pre-acquisition.
I can see there's a good chance of turnaround under currently new management team.
