I do not have a problem with overseas parties owning our mining companies etc, i do have a problem when the tax take has fallen significantly from many years ago, we only get one chance to get a fair share of the revenue to give to the people of Australia.
Your argument about the east living on the revenue from " our minerals" is flawed. The last time i looked, we were all Australians. if this country were attacked we would be happy for our fellow Australians from the east to come to our rescue.
KZL would not exist if it were not for the Chinese? KZL could have sold the Nickel, Gold , or Admiral bay to replace the Chinese money, it was in fact a smart thing to do to get access to future investment money and mining opps in mainland China
